Complete industrial robot systems for UK manufacturers

High-speed conveyor robotics

Delta and parallel robots for high-speed pick, orient and place.

Parallel and delta robots are designed for rapid, repeated movement over a working area. Combined with controlled product flow and machine vision, they can sort, orient and place products at high speed.

The conveyor and vision system set the rhythm.

A fast robot does not automatically create a fast line. Product spacing, camera field of view, image processing, conveyor tracking, gripper response, placement pattern and missed-pick strategy all contribute to the achievable output.

We engineer the complete flow: how products enter the vision window, how suitable picks are assigned, where products are placed, and what happens when a product cannot be picked or fails inspection.

Stable product flow

Control overlap, spacing, speed variation and recirculation so viable products reach the pick area.

Reliable image capture

Specify lens, lighting, trigger and processing around the actual product and conveyor surface.

Fast end effector

Minimise tool mass and response time while maintaining secure pickup and clean release.

Balanced placement

Coordinate downstream pockets, cartons, trays or lanes without moving the bottleneck elsewhere.

Parallel robot system considerations

Representative platforms may cover light, very fast handling or heavier parallel-robot applications. Published unloaded rates are not the same as a guaranteed production rate.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about this robot system

What is the difference between a delta and parallel robot?

Delta robots are a well-known form of parallel robot. The terms are often used together for overhead mechanisms designed for fast, lightweight or medium-payload pick-and-place tasks.

Can a delta robot pick products in random positions?

Yes, when paired with suitable machine vision, lighting and conveyor tracking. The product must still be visually distinguishable and physically pickable.

How is the real production rate calculated?

We consider product arrival, camera and processing time, pick window, robot path, gripper response, placement pattern, rejects and downstream availability—not just a published unloaded cycle figure.

Can multiple robots share one conveyor?

Yes, subject to line layout and controls. Pick allocation, tracking, product distribution and downstream capacity must be coordinated across the robots.
